After graduation, Charlie joined the US Army and served for almost 11 years in both active duty and reserves, as a radio repair operator (31V) and then a crypto tech (29S). Several years later, Charlie went on the road to work for Toby Keith for about 8 years, (his claim to fame). Charlie (being a semi-pro photographer) also photographed several Red Carpet events in Las Vegas and Nashville on the Country Music scene. Which then led him back to music and radio. He then went to work for iHeartMedia (Clear Channel Radio), in the Sarasota Market. After working for almost 10 years with iHeart, he came to work for The best station in Sarasota, WSRQ. Charlie can be found 6a - 10a on the "More Music Mornings" Show. Charlie is also our Ops/IT Manager here in Sarasota and an avid supporter of our Veterans with his Jeep group, DD-214 Jeepers Inc.
