This camp includes dip netting in the bay. Wednesday, November 22nd - Thankful Turtles Campers will embark on an adventure at Mote to learn about turtles and their world. Join Mote’s professional educators on one of three different family-friendly guided tours to explore the unique flora and fauna of City Island and/or Lido Beach. Families will put on their adventure hats and use science tools to identify plants and animals, test water quality and complete a seashore scavenger hunt while learning about the breakthrough research happening at Mote. Who: All ages (ALL participants, adults or children, must register)Fee: $15.00 per personWhen: See dates & locations belowNote: This is an outdoor program (not water-based) that involves walking on sidewalks, boardwalks, and/or sand.
