Curious about our oceans? Interested in expanding your knowledge while also expanding your network? We welcome you to explore the world of marine science through this engaging series of in-person lessons or online and hands-on experiences hosted by Mote education professionals. Volunteer Diving Recruitment

Join Mote for an informational session regarding opportunities to become a volunteer maintenance diver within the Aquarium at Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium.Date: Tuesday, February 7, 2023Duration: 60-90 minutesTime: 2:30 pm OR 6:00 pmLocation: New Pass Room, Keating Building Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium 1600 Ken Thompson Pkwy Sarasota, FL 34236Basic requirements include:- 18 years of age or older- Rescue diver certification or above- Current CPR with AED certification- Current First Aid certification- Current Oxygen Administration certification- Current DAN insurance- Ability to pass a swim test- Ability to pass a dive skills evaluation- Pass a dive physical- Yearly time commitment (2 shifts/month for 12 months)
